Buying leather or fabric can be confusing because there are many grades to consider and some variations within each grade. All of our custom seating comes in several grades of top grain leather or a synthetic suede-like "Microfiber".

Semi-Corrected Grain

Semi-Corrected Grain have been lightly buffed to remove any natural blemishes in the leather, but leaving the natural grain and feel of the leather. These Semi Corrected Leathers are dyed through and then have a light surface coating containing a small amount of pigment applied. This surface coating makes the leather more resistant to stains and abuse, while still retaining the natural appearance and softness of full grain leather. Palliser’s Semi-Corrected Grains emulates the feel of full grain at a more affordable price.
